The idea for Alpha Kompany was born out of a frustration with the fit and feel of standard t-shirts. There is nothing worse than falling in love with the design on shirt only to be disappointed with the quality of shirt it was printed on. Although fit and quality have come a long way in recent years, so many shirts are almost unwearable. Thats why we have pledged to never offer shirts that we ourselves would not wear.

We have put a lot of thought and effort into finding the right shirt, but the biggest reason we wanted to build this brand was to push a message. With the abundance of modern-day comfort and distraction, it is easy to become complacent and forget the immense sacrifice that was given in order for us to enjoy the freedoms we have today. Our motto, "The Sovereign Few" is meant to inspire an attitude of self reliance and personal responsibility, while also paying homage to our founding fathers and the sacrifices they made so that we could enjoy the freedoms we have today.
